Fee: $125 for an hour program 
plus a small travel fee for programs outside San Leandro

Animal Discoveries
Meet 4 live animals in a half hour program. Discover what they like and what helps them survive.

Backyard Birds
Learn about the feathered friends visiting your yard as we watch a puppet show, learn some bird calls, and create an ID chart.

Butterflies
Discover more about the beautiful butterflies of your yard as we watch a puppet show, sing a song, and create your own life cycle magic trick.

Spring Celebration
Visit a live tortoise and guinea pig as we find out about the signs of spring unfurling. Hear a story and craft your own tortoise.

Bats
Join the Bat Lady to find out all about local bats. Learn a fun song, help tell a story, and do a craft project too.

Super Squirrels
Celebrate those fuzzy little geniuses! Join us for a hilarious story, check out our squirrel olympics, and create a squirrel craft.

Fall Fun
Find out how animals prepare for winter as we hear a story, play a game, and visit a live rabbit, chicken, and tortoise.

Fantastic Feet​
​Investigate the different feet of a rabbit, gecko and tarantula. Find out what each type is well designed for.





Guided Nature Hikes
at a nearby park for scouts, school groups, and mom's clubs.


Discover creatures great and small!
Learn about local plants and habitats.
Some options include dip netting to find water creatures in a creek, going on a night hike, going on a tarantula and scorpion hike,  discovering the joy of birdwatching, and learning about poisonous plants and venomous creatures.
